Technical Regulations
1) All cars must be either XMODS or MiniZ's.
2) XMODS and MiniZ's will be ran in separate classes.
3) XMOD and MiniZ Truck and Off-Road vehicles will be ran in a separate
class.
4) All cars must be closed wheel. No F1 cars. ( An F1 race could be included,
providing we have enough entries.)
Technical Regulations Section I - XMOD and MiniZ Stock Class - Oval, Road Course, Drag Race, Off-Road/Truck
1) All cars must be complete. They must have all four wheels and tires, all
windows and doors, both front and back bumpers. All removable parts
must be secured by screws and or glue. Tape of any type
is not allowed to secure body or chassis parts.
2) Fenders may not be cut out or altered unless done so as part of an approved factory upgrade kit.
3) No part of the chassis, suspension, batteries, or electronics may be
exposed. The body shall not be altered
to allow said parts to be exposed or protrude through.
4) Cars must be neat in appearance. No profanity or obscene signs or slogans shall be displayed.
5) All factory upgrades/modifications are allowed. These include
Motors, AWD, Suspension/Steering, Body Upgrades, Logic Lights,
Wheels and Drift Kits, etc. This will include any new upgrade
kits which manufactures releases in the future.
6) No Motor alterations are allowed. No rewinds, brush or magnet replacements.
7) Alterations to the H-Bridge circuit and motor/battery wiring and
connectors is not allowed.
8) Any other electronic modifications not mentioned above is not allowed.
9) No car shall be altered electronically so as to interfere with the electronics and or radio communication of another car.
10) Maximum allowed battery voltage shall not exceed 6 volts.
11) No body/chassis modification shall be allowed that will interfere with the motion of another car.
Technical Regulations Section II - XMOD and MiniZ Open (Modified) Class - Oval, Road Course, Off-Road/Truck
Rules 1-4 same as Section I
5) Modified motors are allowed. These may include rewinds, brush and magnet
upgrades. Purchased upgraded motors will be allowed as well, so
long as their installation does not alter a car body or
chassis so as to put it in violation of stated rules.
6) Alterations to the H-Bridge circuit and motor/battery wiring and
connectors is allowed. These include replacing and or stacking FET's, replacing
motor wiring with a larger gage, etc.
7) Other electronic modifications not mentioned in rule #6 may be allowed,
subject to judges approval.
8) No car shall be altered electronically so as to interfere with the
electronics and or radio communication of another car.
9) Maximum allowed battery voltage shall not exceed 9 volts.
10) No body/chassis modification shall be allowed that will interfere with
the motion of another car.
Technical Regulations Section III - XMOD and MiniZ Open (Modified) Class -
Drag Race (Includes Off-Road/Truck)
1) All cars must be complete. They must have a body, all four wheels and
tires. All removable parts must be secured by screws and or glue. Tape
of any type is not allowed to secure body or chassis parts.
2) Dragster bodies may be altered or chopped. Motor and chassis parts may
protrude through the body so long as they are in compliance with rule
#1.
3) Modified motors are allowed. These may include rewinds, brush and magnet
upgrades. Purchased upgraded motors will be allowed as well, so
long as their installation does not alter a car body or
chassis so as to put it in violation of stated rules.
4) Alterations to the H-Bridge circuit and motor/battery wiring and

Racing Rules and Regulations
1) All cars will be inspected before being allowed to compete. Entries must meet all technical rules.
2) Drivers/car owners must be registered and have their entry fee's paid
prior to the start of all racing events. Team entries are allowed but each team
member must pay the entry fee if they wish to race or be
listed as a backup driver. Teams must designate primary and backup drives prior
to the
start of the event.
3) Oval, road course and off-road-truck races will be either timed or
total laps. (i.e.3 minute or 5 minute
heats, 30 or 100 lap races). Drag races will
be 1-on-1.
4) 1st place in oval, road course and off-road/truck races will be awarded to the car/driver finishing the most laps. 2nd
place to the next most laps and
so on. Drag race winner will be the first car to cross
the finish line.
5) The top four finishers of a race will be awarded points. The point
system is as follows
1st - 100 Points
2nd - 75 Points
3rd - 50 Points
4th - 25 Points
5th - 15 Points
6th - 10 Points
(A car must complete at least 1 lap to be eligible for point awards.)
6) All cars must start from the starting line.
7) When starting, cars must be positioned on the track parallel to one
another, with adequate spacing between cars. Cars may not be placed at an
angle
so as to interfere with the forward motion of another car.
8) Cars must start at the green light. False starts will result in a restart. 3 false starts by any one driver will result in disqualification for that race.
9) Cars may not be touched by drivers/spectators/turn marshals in such a way
as to aid forward motion. This would include picking up a car and
placing it at a further point on the track.
10) Cars may be touched if they are immobile or other wise incapacitated.
11) A driver/spectator/turn marshal shall not physically touch a car so as to impede its forward motion.
12) All cars must stop when the red light is displayed. Once the stop order
has been issued, cars are not allowed to be moved until directed to do
so by the race director. Violation of this rule can result in
disqualification.
13) Cars leaving the track under their own power will be replaced on the track at the point of departure.
14) If a car is pulled from the track for repair, it may be placed back on the track in front of the drivers area.
15) All drivers must control their cars from the designated drivers area.
16) Drivers must not allow their transmitter antennas to extend over the track so as to hinder the radio signal of the other cars.
17) All transmitters of cars not racing shall be shut off during the race.
18) Anyone intentionally interfering with another cars radio transmissions
will be disqualified from that days racing and may be subject to removal from
the racing league.
19) No foul language, abusive talk or threats will be tolerated.
20) Good sportsmanship is encouraged.
21) Any driver intentionally wrecking other cars during a race will be black flagged.
22) Any car altered during the course of a race so as to put it in violation of the technical rules will be black flagged.
23) Any controversy will be settled by the race director and track officials.
24) All decisions made by the race director are final.
