Electronics Class XMODS Racing League Scoring Rules

1) All race participants will receive the following scores for each point sanctioned race.

(Points double for feature final race finishers)

100 Points - First Place

75 Points - Second Place

50 Points - Third Place

            25 Points - Fourth Place

15 Points - Fifth Place

10 Points - Sixth Place

Qualifying
Lap total equal to or exceeding base limit = 50 points (base limit will be set by race director and will depend on track setup.)
All laps above base limit = 10 points each.

Drivers will be placed in heat races based on qualifying position. Winners of heat races will compete in a feature final race. All others will compete in consolation races. Consolation race winners will have the opportunity to move up to the feature final race.  

A total of 10 point race sessions (counting the Season Final) will be held.    

Additional Points Will Be Counted as Follows

2) Join C4 Racing Club at XMODSRC.Com - 500 points

3) Post picture of your XMOD(s) on XMODSRC.com – 500 Points

4) Make a Power Point Presentation to the class on at least one electronic element of an RC car.  
   (i.e. how electric motors work)  - 1000 points

5) Complete the RC car soldering kit. Car must work and associated workbook must be filled out with all
technical tests and quizzes completed to receive full point value. 1000 points

6) Make one performance modification to an XMOD. Documentation must be provided with data
    to show how the modification improved performance. Documentation must include charts, drawings and
technical data. Submissions will be posted on the website. 1000 points

7) Construct a NiMH or Lithium battery charger. 1000 points

8) Bonus points for best looking car (concourse), coolest car, best all around driver, best sportsmanship
as voted on by all participants. - 500 points for each category - 2000 if you win all four categories

All points are based on participant performance and all decisions made by the C4 Race Director are final.
